Review summary

This ship is definitely one of a kind...didn't have enough time in a week to see everything we wanted to....something for everyone, especially shows, classes, food and relaxation. The layout is amazing, but very easily mastered, though you will need your walking shoes! Was impressed by the ease with which 5,000 + guests were registered and boarded, also the disembarkation, which went smoothly as well. Did not encounter the long lines I had expected everywhere, though the capacity of some venues was limited.....overall a great trip.....ready to go again

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Food was great everywhere......of course, the Dining Room, but there were many smaller places in the Grand Promenade ,in Central Park, and the Sports area to grab a bite...our favorite was Park Cafe

Entertainment

5 out of 5
So many things to do! Shows were very entertaining, some of the best I have seen at sea. The Water show, with Olympic divers was particularly impressive, and unique ( and breathtaking!). Classes were held multiple times during the voyage, so many could take advantage of them. The instructors I encountered in Scrapbooking & Jewelry Making were very knowledgeable and personable.....experts in their fields, even though they had other tasks as the Cruise Director"s staff.....such as Disco Dancing! The nightly entertainment in the Promenade was always fun.....

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Seems like they took the best of the fleet and brought them to the Oasis. Many of the staff said they helped "put the ship together" in Finland, so there was a sense of "ownership" among them. Great wait and cabin staff! Our headwaiter in the dining room was very attentive, more so than those on many of our cruises, always making sure our food was perfect.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Ship is huge, but workable....well laid out. Beautiful art and sculpture everywhere. There were tours of the art aboard every day.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Outside balcony was about the same as their other ships, with slightly less storage space.....nice decor. Sink was mounted low in bathroom.

Pros: The Whole Ship, Great service

Cons: Reservations for shows
