This was our 1st time cruising with Norwegianand we had a wonderful voyage. We started with a 2 day precruise package, staying at the Raddison Prince Kuhio. This isa beautiful hotel and I would recommend it toanyone. During our stay, we went to the Paradise Cove Luau and the Arizona Memorial. These are NOT to be missed. The cruise left Oahu on Sunday. Embarkation goes very smooth, if you have all your paperwork filled out. Very well organized. The ship is just fantastic. We have been on 10 cruises and this ship is definitely one of the best. The food was great and there was plenty of it. Variety made it easy for us to always find something that we liked. We kept the crew in the Blue Lagoon VERY busy and they always had a smile for us.The room stewards kept the cabin spotless. They made us feel like royalty.June, our hula instructor , made learning the hula so much fun. I can't believe that I actually did it. The entertainment was great also. The perfomers really give their all. There were a few little things that went wrong. We thought that we should get pictureframes when we bought photos, instead of them trying to sale us the albums. Getting back on the ship in Hilo was a little slow due to the excursions ending at the same time. It would be nice if the Star could spend a little more time in Hilo. I did not quite understand why there was a surcharge to get in the Teppanyaki Room and then you had to pay for your meal. We felt like Norwegian was trying to nickel & dime us for services that should have been included. Lastly, when we made our reservation for our day room at the end of the cruise, we never got confirmation and nobody could find our information. However, we did get the room.Overall, I still rate this a great cruise. The Hawaiian Islands, the ship and the crew definitely made this one FANTASTIC cruise.
