Review summary

This was our first cruise, so we did not know exactly what to expect nor did we expect anything in particular. The staff for the most part did their job, very few spoke good english so communication was difficult. They were pushy with their drink service and I hated the fact that 15% tips were included in your bill PLUS we paid a $12 per person per day service charge. Most staff smiled. My husband got yelled at by the chef because he was in the breakfast line to early (By 10 mins) The last night we were there, we had an horrible sewer smell in our room (we were on deck 11) But taking all of that out of it..I would do it again on the same ship in a heart beat.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food was the best part, Cagneys was a bit expensive, but the food was well worth it. The 'free' food was top rate and such a wonderful choice - good for any tastes.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
We had a magician on the ship - he was awesome!! The other shows were so so.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Everyone smiled, but only 1/3 of the ship could converse in English. Therefore it made it difficult to order a specific drink, or ask for anything. As long as you went with the flow, everything was fine.

Cabin / Stateroom

Bed was perfect!! Room was comfortable. The 'make up' and 'turn down' staff were awesome!

Pros: There was always something to do

Cons: Couldn't sit anywhere for 10 mins without someone asking you to purchase a drink
