Review summary

The Norweigian Majesty, although it is an older ship, had been updated to current standards...The dining rooms were spacious with beautiful views of land and sea while in port. The staircases were surrounded with glass walls to provide full view of the stairwells above and below. Our stateroom had granite countertops on all cabinets and dressers...Our bathrooms had marble counters and cabinets with a full tub and shower....Also beautiful jars were provided in the bathroom full of bath salts and cotton balls and Q-tips.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We had dinner, every evening, in any of the 4 restaurants at approximately 8:00 PM each night, which is our usual dinner time. There were no problems placing our name on the list at approximately 7:15PM to 7:30PM to be seated by 8:00 PM. While waiting for our table we used to browse the gift shop or ship areas. The waiting time was not a problem..

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The entertainment, was by far the most wonderful part of this cruise. We were selected as participants for the Caribbean night and the Dance contest on the 50 and 60's Night. We even won the Twist contest.Any age children who were presen were treated as special guests if they casually wondered onto the stage during these fun events. I loved seeing how all ages were invited to participate in all activities.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
The ship activities were geared to a general age population. We always felt that each entertainment night applied to all ages and were appropriate to join in the fun.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The staff onboard, whether they were restaurant, concierge or cleaning staff, were helpful, upbeat and pleasant. Always, there was a beautiful smile and a "Good Morning/Evening" each time we passed any staff on the ship.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The common areas were meticulously clean. Railings were polished, carpets were vacummed continuously.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We had excellent accomodations in one of the suites on the 9th deck. The suite had a couch, 2 chairs, a cocktail table with 3 long, full vew windows creating a balcony affect in the seating area. The views were spectacular. There weas also a TV with DVD player and a compact refrigerator in this seating area. The bedroom area had a full window next to the queen size bed with 2 side nightstand/vanity tables for easy access to place reading materials, alarm clocks. The vanity area provided outlets and multiple lighting fixtures for reading or grooming. There was also a walk-in closet with ample hangers and extra storage space for our luggage.

Ports of call

St. George's, Bermuda

Our first day in port, we were scheduled for the 5 hour Bermuda Island bus tour. This provided us with a general view of the entire Bermuda Island. We were able to experience, through sighseeing and stopping for pictures on this excellent tour what Bermuda had to offer. On our second day, we walked to St. Catherine's Beach and enjoyed the magnificient beach scene. That evening we took the Coral Sea cruise to the homes of the rich and famous. There were unlimited coctails provide along with this cruise ticket. Watch out with those complimentary, potent, but delicious rum swizzles that were enjoyed by everyony that evening. This excurshion cruise porvided an excellent opportunity to view Bermuda from the sea. On our third day in port, we enjoyed browsing through the beautiful streets and shops of St. George's.
Don't Miss: Bermuda Island Drive tour, the cruise of the Rich and Famous, and the beaches and the walking through the streets for shopping in St. George's.
