Review summary

the majesty is showing its age, we had very little air condtioning in our room, waited 2 days for a fan, we had a sewerage smell in our hall, rugs are wearing, paint is chipping, this is my 5 th time sailing on the majesty and i really was disappointed. i also found the staff to be not as personal as before, also i thought there was less staff, waited awhile to be served alot in the shows and up on pool deck, not like previous sailings. so i dont know if they are understaffed and overworked. in the dining room there was no special feel to the staff, just another person to serve and move out, felt rushed more times than not. i was traveling with a group of 34 and this was the impression of others as well. i do have to say there were a few crew members that were friendly but not all like before. it seems as if they have cut back on things, little things like different glasses with the island drinks, they have cut some of the activities they did before, but it was still good. they have changed the bands too. we had a couple performing on the sailaway party not island music like past sailings,,, just different , and just ok... nothing to write home about, but i cannot say a really bad cruise just not what i was used to on the majesty and may switcfh my ship... have been on 4 others ... but i really like the itinerary of the majesty bermuda 3 days no hopping around.

this is a toss between poor and average, the food was average, but the ambiance was not there at all,,, felt like a number.. rushed. freestyle love.. no set time, and very easy to get in...

Service and Staff

like i have said already not very friendly, we had only two staff members that i can really say went above and beyond.. a bar waitress on the pool deck would help my cousin get even her coffee cause she had a hard time walking.. and one waiter in the dining room was very friendly and amusing at dinner one night.

our room was hot, ac not great , our room steward not very friendly and when asked for a second pillow it was a big deal, and had to wait to next day , also asked for extra towels and he had a remark about that too.. i just wonder if they are understaffed and overworked and showing it

Ports of call

St. George's, Bermuda

love tobacco bay for snorkeling, horseshoe bay for pink sand , the glass bottom but you can do without, nothing spectacular for the price especially . carriage ride very nice and informative. the zoo aquarium is just right for kids, not too big but the aquarium is great to see, it was amazing.
