The Manhattan Room - Main Dining Room on Norwegian Encore

We ate there towards the end of the cruise, Sat at the very back. Our waitress was Lara - she was great. Unfortunately, I got food poisoning, and had to race out of the restaurant before getting through my main course. Was sick for 2 full days. I do not recommend the soup (it was lukewarm) or the potato salad (room temp). Hot foods need to be hot, cold foods need to be cold.

Cold food, bad steaks, we left and went to the Buffet and got Hot Food.

I had great food here. I had the New York strip steak, I had some great Caesar salads. I had the best Tiramisu dessert. I ate here twice with some of my fellow solo Cruisers. I also had a dinner by myself. The staff was awesome and always attentive. I had a great orange with chocolate mousse. I also had a chocolate cake. I don't normally eat desserts but they were very good

Very large venue, food was good and the staff nice. Just too crowded for me.

We were seated and our order was taken quickly. We waited two hours for our entree. When it arrived, the orders were not ours. We drank all our water and our beverage and asked three separate times for refills. We waited an hour for refills. This happened on the two occasions we ate in this restaurant. I do not recommend this venue for their slow service and cold entrees.

I really wanted to like this place. I really did. We came in as a party of two, agreed to be seated with another table, and still waited 20 minutes. We were there for 2 hours, start to finish and waited forever between courses. My salad was delivered with no dressing and was the most bitter greens I'd ever encountered. The food was just mediocre. And most of it was delivered cold because of the distance between the kitchen and the table. Our waiter was clearly overworked at distracted. I took a long time to get refills on water and I was only able to get one drink refill the whole time we were there. We only want one night because the experience was underwhelming.

We ate during a more busy dinner hour, so in turn service was a bit on the slower side. The food, however, was tasty.
