Food wasn’t the highest quality but was tasty and I had finished most of my meals in the main dining room. Limited selection for breakfast (regular eggs, boiled potatoes) and late night buffet (pizza, burgers, breads, fruits).

Onboard Activities

Not much to do. Itinerary port intensive, I had no issue resting in my room and enjoying my balcony.

Service and Staff

Service was adequate. Most staff was friendly with the exception of a few that either did not understand English, did not have information or did not want to answer you. Straightforward service. Little to no small talk with staff. Room steward was fast, friendly and efficient.

Ship tip

Do your research ahead of time, as there is limited communication on board and some crew members are not that knowledgeable or helpful. Prepare for a little bit of a wait time at drink stations, bars, guest services, elevators, etc. Elevators are small, get crowded, are slow and close doors fast. Most doors on board are heavy. The crowd consists of a lot of international guests, first time cruisers or those who lack common courtesy like cutting in line, walking through people, bulldozing, playing loud speakers and not handling their tempers or alcohol well. On my cruise, there were lots of unruly kids, teenagers and grown adults who screamed and shouted in public areas and hallways (at all times of the day and night - especially after nightclub hours). Heard loud sex on several occasions at 1-3am and I would yell, “Shut up this is a $300 cruise, how embarrassing”.

Good insightful review. We was on the Magnifica in December and also alot of late night noise in the hallways. Something ran into our wall / door very very hard. Scared my wife to death. Anyways thanks for your review.

Also, Ocean Cay was nice. Bring bug spray if you are hanging out at the Lighthouse Beach at night to watch the light snow. I was covered with giant mosquito bites on both legs. Also, there was lots of trash on the beach and chairs. They need to improve with cleanliness.
