Review summary

On the whole great. Interesting ports of call. Staff were well organised at each port and excursions were good value for money and interesting. Its just the entertainment that was not up to scratch.

Embarkation

3 out of 5
Chaos really. Had to wait 2 hours to embark in an uncomfortable building with little refreshment. Apparently a computer glitch. Staff coped well in the circustances.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
All excellent.

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
Too cold to use outdoor pools. Organised activities like quizes were mindless. No ballroom dancing available. Line dancing was OK, except the staff were obviously only one page ahead.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Too many of the main shows were not designed for the age demographic of the boat. Too many of the songs/shows were for a younger age group than those on the boat.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Can't be faulted.

Ship Quality

Cabin / Stateroom

Excellent. Well maintained.

Ship tip

Take things to entertain yourself on sea days.

Disembarkation

A fight to find luggage. If Newcastle won the best port competition, God help the rest.
