Review summary

We had not sailed on Carnival in over 9 years. It will be another 9 years before we sail with them again. Just not our vibe. Loud drunken rude passengers.

Pretty efficient. We had a 10:30 arrival time.

Food and Dining

No table cloths in MDR and they felt unsanitary.

Onboard Activities

We enjoyed the serenity area. This is the only place where you can find loungers in the shade. Had to claim your chair before 9:00 AM or you were in full sun.

Entertainment

Main theater shows were very good. Center stage not so much. Comedians were poor and insulting. Magician was AWFUL!

Service and Staff

Room steward was great (usually don't have a problem here). Service staff at MDR and other venues were average.

Ship Quality

NOBODY WAS WASHING HANDS OR SANITIZING. It's like nobody cares about cleanliness.

Cabin / Stateroom

Cabin was very nice. Balcony roomy enough. Bathroom way too small due to enlarged shower (long but quite narrow). No water pressure. Spigot does not extend into sink bowl - hard to wash hands.

Ship tip

If you are a fan of Celebrity, RCCL or NCL (as we are) DO NOT try Carnival.

We loved the Mardi Gras sorry you didn't have a good experience. Most shows were great Food was great especially Pig&Anchor. Some things could be better but you just move on past that cause there's normally other options. Disembarking was very easy ,overall was a great cruise .Sept 28th-Oct 5th 2024❤️

Thank you for sharing your feedback. I am a fan of RCCL, but I have nothing negative to say about a carnival cruise I took on one of their small & dates ships- different vibe but did my research and got my money’s worth + had fun. This was not for you and I thank you for the review.
