Review summary

Will probably never get on this Mardi Gras cruise ship again. To big, rocked the hold time on all floors. Very noisy with the engines. Creepy noise though out the ship at port or not.

We were 2 people dining along. Service was horrible. Bring us water but wouldn't even ask if we want anything else to drink. If we did ask for tea, I would have to ask for a refill.

The bathrooms next to the casino and theater were always dirty. Pee on the floor and they stunk.

It was very clean, large TV, but the balcony was a bit small with a wall underneath the handrail.

Ship tip

Be prepare to wait a couple of hours to get on this ship. Use restroom before you go, bring bottle of water and a snack.

We sailed the same cruise (left Dec 10). The problem with the embarkation was not Carnival’s fault. Several people did not leave the ship on the previous cruise and it held up the entire boarding process until they could get them off. I’ve sailed on 8 other ships. This was by far the smoothest sailing I’ve encountered. At times I had to check to see if we were actually moving it was so smooth. As far as the bathrooms being dirty, how about complaining about the bathroom habits of your fellow cruisers? I always saw bathrooms being cleaned.

The bathroom by the theater and casino where not dirty on our sailing but there was always a line because they were very small for an area with so much traffic.

we sailed her in August and we were surprised we didn't have any rocking. there are restrooms in the terminal area near the lounge down the hall. they can't board the ship until the coast guard and customs says it's ok

It is new ship and everyone wants to get on her, so that is why you wait a couple of months/years to get on het.

I’ve seen several complaints about the newest ships on a couple of cruise lines. They seem to have added more venues, resulting in a smaller, more crowded feeling.
