Review summary

This was my 20th cruise on Carnival and definitely one of the best. Ship is SO impressive. I’m already looking to book a trip on the sister ship, Celebration.

Overall, very smooth. We were onboard and eating by 11:30am.

Not a fan of the MDR. Food in ChiBang was awesome. Also enjoyed Cucina. Make advanced reservation if you want the Tepenyaki. Was missed out on this. Definitely eat the chicken and fries at Big Chicken - awesome!

Onboard Activities

Family Feud and Deal or No Deal were awesome! The comedians were very good, too. I did not care for the production shows.

Service and Staff

The staff worked so hard - and it was very evident. Everyone was friendly, also. Some of the reviews that report staff who did not care are very off! This was not our experience.

Ship Quality

The ship was awesome! Very big and enough space that is rarely felt crowded!

Cabin / Stateroom

We booked a suite and LOVED the space. What we did NOT LOVE was the lack of privacy on our balcony. I would look for a different room location the next time.

Ship tip

Use the stairs if you can. Elevators were a time waste.

This was my 20th cruise on Carnival and this was the absolute smoothest debarkation ever! We carried off our own luggage and were in an Uber at 7:30am. I was prepared for a challenging time with 6000+ passengers, but this was not the case at all!
