Our ship was over 4 hours leaving Port Canaveral. It was being briefed throughout the intercom that the delay was based on refueling of the natural gas to the ship. This delayed arrival into Cozumel by 2 hours. I'm not sure why the natural gas refueling was taking so long or if this is a design flaw from when the ship was designed and built. Once this was behind us then the rest of the cruise was really good. It did however prevent being able to take beginning photos as we were departing port for the first time on this cruise as it was dark.

Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Food areas on this ship were a little different. After getting used to all of the varieties of eating areas it turned out to be exceptionally nice. I do believe though that it had an impact to the number of people that went to the main dining room. All of the service was truly superb.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
Available activities were very nice. The view from the infinity pool was exceptional. The number of hot tubs around the cruise ship was a real plus.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
Entertainment was really good with a wide variety for everyone. The cruise director clearly has an immense amount of talent and was very appreciative and personable.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
The staff was superior. Our stateroom steward made sure each and everyday that we were totally taken care of. He maintained our privacy and always made sure that when we were out of the stateroom that everything was set for a relaxing and enjoyable day.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
All areas were always clean. Ship stewards were always busy cleaning and polishing so the ship was always pristine. The only dry back is that on the 7th deck when exiting the Mari Gras Theatre the most direct path to any other activities required you to go through the Casino or up or down a deck to avoid the smoke. The rest of the ships layout was superb.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
We were traveling with 2 other couples with adjacent balcony rooms. Upon request once entering the ship the adjoining balcony doors were opened making it much nicer for our group. Even though the bathroom was a little small the overall room was wonderful. I did like the size of the TV, the glass door refrigerator and the number of USB connections. I would suggest a receptacle be consider near the bed for patrons that use a CPAP machine when sleeping. Knowing from other cruises I made provisions by packing an extension cord which could be avoided if a receptacle was by the bed.
Ship tip
Get familiar with the ship before sailing. There are many attractions that are available and knowing your way around the ship even makes each event even more relaxing an enjoyable.
Our group used the option of taking our luggage with us when leaving the ship. Disembarkation was as smooth as you could ever imagine. Visual recognition for exiting is a real plus. Once we clear the line exiting the ship we essentially walked all the way out with only an extremely brief stop for visual verification. This was a great process.
I agree. We got off the ship on the 11th. Once we figured out the layout of the ship it was great. Food options were great. We actually looked at the ship maps a lot before we left but it still took a while.
