Review summary

It was nice, didn't like they made us wear mask when everyone is vaccinated, didn't like all the upsale and extra charges, the ship was beautiful, service was excellent , didn't like that we paid for and excursion and half of the places were closed, overall it was good,I probably won't choose Carnival again.

Restaurants where nice and clean, buffets everyday same food, the other restaurants was better but you have to pay extra

not enough activities, we got bored, nothing to do from 5-7, the activities they had we didn't like, especially paying extra for activities

main stage and stand up comedy were very good, the DJ especially in the lido deck not so good always playing same kind of music

Service was excellent especially from waitress name Aila at the cocina restaurant she was amazing always making sure we had enough food, room steward was great too.

Thanks for sharing, sounds like you haven’t cruised much which is ok. Most of the negative things you mentioned are common in the industry.

People should do their homework before booking to better manage their expectations. Just recognize that after a 18 month hiatus, cruising is trying to find its groove again. I think they're doing an admirable job considering the many and constantly changing safety protocols, not just for the U.S but internationally as well. Interruptions in the supply chain. Must be a logistical nightmare running a cruiseline during a Pandemic. I'm cruising next month and fully intend to roll with the punches because cruising is back, baby!

This is the second review I’ve read that states not enough to do and they got bored. Because of social distancing, cruising is not back to pre Covid. Many activities have been canceled for awhile. I think some people need to wait to cruise till all ports and activities return to normal.

Since I do not intend to use the pay toys, sounds like you had a nice trip. Although you do sound like a friend that went on one of the Oasis ships, it was a LOT more expensive after the kids did all the extra cost stuff. They did a couples trip on Princess with us later and said no toys, but a lot less nickel and diming.

Carnival is one of the only cruise lines that doesn’t knuckle and dime you. The only activity you pay for is bingo and the new bolt coaster so not sure what you are talking about. As far as paying for an excursion, what does places being closed have to do with the excursion? You are aware we’re in a pandemic and most places are just opening back up. These islands are not like the states. You must be cheap. I love that there are so many food options and any upscale is well worth the price. Perhaps cruising isn’t for you.
