A Carnival cruise in the Med

Sail Date: May 01, 2014

Reviewed: 2 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Inside

The public areas are new and elegant\, but the rooms were not remodeled. Old and dated.

Pros: the food was the best at sea!

Cons: On a 7 night cruise\, the toilet was broke 4 days

Recommends Insignia? No.

Ship Quality
Food and Dining
Beyond exceptional. Very high quality- the best we have ever experienced.
Cabin / Stateroom
They couldn't reliably fix the toilet. We left one morning at 8:00 and returned at 5:00 to find the toilet filled to the rim with filth. Still no one would help. Finally went to the concierge to demand a new cabin- none available.
Service and Staff
Very gracious crew. Respectful and above the cookie cutter glitz.
Entertainment
Show was about college drama group quality. The \"bring aboard\" talent was superb.
