Review summary

We were on the Explorer June 30. Absolutely loved this cruise. The ship is clean, staff is not only friendly but went above and beyond if we asked for something they did not have, they found it for us. Food amazing and the ports and excursions were by far our favorite cruise. This was our 6th cruise in 15 months and it will be hard to beat. Breathtaking views of glaciers, mountains and the whales. We will be going back to Alaska in 2019 and on Royal Caribbean. Next cruise is Southern Caribbean on the Adventure Sept. 23. Alaska stole my heart but I will be going back!

As cruise virgins, we took the 2nd cruise this ship ever did to Alaska last year and loved it so much that we booked another one for this year and are taking 4 friends with us who've never cruised before. We leave in 10 days, and I'm super excited. Reading some of these comments, I started to become nervous that maybe quality had slipped, but I'm glad that doesn't really appear to be the case but more odd exceptions and passengers with unrealistic expectations. At least, that's what I hope.

question, did they have a onboard deal for the internet package after you sailed or on day of embarkation?
