Review summary

This review is for the food. Having traveled on Carnival, 3 small no name cruise lines and this ship, I was very disappointed in the food. Started the first night at Chops. Ordered the bone in ribeye. I was brought a T-Bone. I'm not one to complain, but when you are paying extra, you should get what you ordered. I was told they didn't have any Ribeye steaks upon questioning the waiter. This information should have been stated when I ordered the item. The next night, I ordered the Grouper. It definitely wasn't grouper. They had the same dish but with Sea Bass on the menu. Whatever fish it was (still don't entirely know), it wasn't Grouper (which happens to be one of my favorite types of fish). It was supposed to be Pan Fried. It was not pan fried, it was baked. It was supposed to come with Capers. There were no Capers. None. This is the first cruise I have ever been on where I am Hungry. I would not recommend this particular ship. I will update this review with more information, but Royal Caribbean appears to be on a cost cutting extravaganza and trying to pull one over their guests. It isn't appreciated. If you don't have something, just say it.

went June 21-28, had an excellent meal in Chops, four of us in our party had no complaints. However, Izumi, the Asian specialty was terrible. Service was the worst and food was bad. Walked out hungry and bill was$100

Have never had any complaints with any cruise lines I have been on in regards to restaurant foods, service by waiters or whatever. Trust me if I had have received bad meals, cold meals, not the correct ordered meal it would be sent straight back with a complaint to the maitre d

Strange that happened. I've done Chops twice and both perfect meals. I guess it can happen. Hope your next is a better experience.

0 for 2 on two meals is not good. Agree totally about the ribeye. You should have been told. Especially at Chops!
