Review summary

I would never have taken this type of 'vacation' had it not been for a fundraiser/auction in which I was the highest bidder for a women's center my midwife daughter volunteers for in south Seattle.  Coming from a poor middle class family - I considered a Cruise only for those who were financially well off.  What I totally enjoyed is: I did not have to worry or look after anyone or Do Anything...no cooking, cleaning or taking care of anyone!  I could sleep in, eat well anytime, lay in the sun, hot-tub, swim or attend any of the various entertainment events on board.  Dinners were fabulous and our waiters were professional & so very kind!  Our room was miraculously sparkling clean when we returned, how did they know when we were out!?  I would do it again if possible and would recommend it to anyone who has not had this experience!

I agree! I've been cruising for 20 years and always have to budget (take my own pics and eat the included food and ignore most souvenirs). We go off season - dodge hurricanes and expect missed ports- but it's the best vacation!

if you live near a port and don't mind an inside room, the price isn't too bad. book a year or 2 ahead and put $20 away every week and it will be paid off before you know it

I would have to agree with 100%. Never did I ever figure I would go on a cruise. We went on our first cruise back in March and I would have to say it was the most relaxing vacation I have ever been on. I never thought I could afford one. I won my cruise through work. My husband and I enjoyed it alot and realized that you can make payments on your vacation. It won't be the last one we go on. We were on Princess and already started planning our next one in March if next year.
