Review summary

Just off the ship this morning after doing an 8 day cruise to the Islands in the Pacific. Had a fabulous time and highly rate the ship, crew and amenities. ..special mention to our room attendant Joseph and our waiters in the MDR,Ijede and Carlito. Loved the pools, flowrider, putt putt,ice skating show,the band Pulse (awesome reggae),the casino, the 70s show and British show , the cocktails and the food. Basically couldn't fault much at all...only a couple of minor issues but they were sorted immediately . Recommend to anyone!

thanx bronnies57. love your tips. From 16th dec all gratitudes were included in our fare and we only booked last week so dont need to worry about that. So if i gave my kids the softdrink cup could they go and fill it or do they need to show their cruise card too???

And go for some brekkies or lunches in the dining room. Delicious choices.. Be careful what you spend in any of the shops as you think youve got a bargain but when it comes off your credit card it's alot more as it is charged in American currency. And the casino uses American money in the pokies...good idea to take some with you. Also on your first day go to guest services and get the gratuities taken off your account,and just give your tips to who you think deserves it. We gave ours to our waiters and our room attendant Joseph.

oh and spirits included in the drinks package were impressive. ..Grey Goose, Makers Mark, Patron, etc And you can ask for the better spirits in your cocktails if desired. Also in the dining room if you want two main courses because you can't decide which to have, just ask for two ...or two entrees or deserts etc Be prepared to put on a few kilos

if you buy the drinks package you have a special travel cup put in your room and you fill it from the coke machines that have heaps of softdrinks . The cups are the only ones that fit in the machines so you have to have bought the package to get the cup. But it doesn't cost you any extra.

love love love this info, have screen shot so i remember the drinks to try ððð do u have any idea if the soda package is any cheaper to purchase on the ship. It is very expensive compared to princess cruises. Where thinking we may purchase the softdrinks through our drink package

I was on the same cruise loved it i well and truely drank my drink package i have booked again for next year the staff were amazing the schooner bar was my favorite Morgan the piano man was amazing dealing with a difficult situation with so much respect!! Andreas in the schooner bar made the best cocktails goonbay smash a must ooh i cant wait to get back next year!!

Absolutely bought the drinks package and well and truely drunk it. Had many many cocktails,coronas, grey goose vodkas, a couple of wines with dinner every night and many many waters and lattes from the cafe. Almost all cocktails were $11...the list actually wasn't big but they made heaps of different ones. Must try Poco Loco, Mango Tango and Blue Hawaii. ..yummo. Bottled water alone was $4.50 for a small bottle and Lattes/Frappuccinos etc were nearly $5. i got 4 bottles of water every day and 3 lattes...nearly $35 just for those,3 cocktails and there is your drinks package. ..easy. Also had lots of patron shots too

hi bronnies57. Glad u enjoyed your cruise. we r heading off in april for 13 nights. Did u buy any of the drink packages? What sort of prices were the alcohol drinks? Cheers ð

No we didn't have any problems with line ups...very quick for everything. We had no idea what the theme nights were but they always have two formal nights and we had a tropical and a 70s night. No one had 70s gear but we all had tropical shirts and leis and we got headbands over on the island that day.
