Review summary

This was my first cruise, as well as my husband's first cruise - and we both loved it! Our room was lovely (ocean view, deck 9) and our stateroom attendant, Marvin, was wonderful (and very talented at making towel animals). We didn't make a reservation for the first night's dinner and wound up at a table with a few other couples. The second night, we made a reservation and had a table for two with Robert and Arnold as our waiters. After that, we made a reservation to be at the same table with the same waiters every night. The food was amazing EVERY NIGHT and we couldn't have asked for better waiters!

In Bermuda, we did the Bermuda Pirates glass-bottomed boat tour and the Catamaran Coral Reef & Snorkel and really enjoyed both. The tour guides were very friendly and informative and we loved both trips. We also went to Horseshoe Bay for several hours on the convenient mini-bus shuttle.

We loved the cruise and everyone that we came into contact with and will definitely be cruising with Royal Caribbean again!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food in the Columbus dining room was AMAZING!

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
We played shuffleboard, mini golf, used the gym and mineral pool, but didn't spend much time in the casinos or the bars. Plenty of other things to do on board, though!

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Ice-skating show was amazing, the band is very talented, and the singers and dancers were great!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
We loved Robert and Arnold (dining staff) and Marvin (stateroom attendant).

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
It was clean, we had a wonderful view of the landscape (and also the very front of deck 5 below us), and our stateroom attendant Marvin was great.

Ports of call

Cape Liberty (Bayonne), New Jersey

3 out of 5
It was convenient for us - getting on and off was a little tedious but well worth the convenience of staying in NJ.
