Review summary

Explorer of the Seas is a beautiful ship with just about everything you could ask for. We are only second time cruisers so we don't have much to compare, but were very happy with the ship. We only wish the weather would have allowed us to utilize the outside decks more.

The My Time dining option is good because you are not restricted to the same time every day.

Entertainment

The ship's song and dance group was very good and had excellent shows. The ice skating show was also excellent. The group "the Happenings" performed a very good show with many nostalgic music. More dance lessons in a larger space would have been nice. The cost of BINGO is very high.

Service and Staff

Very friendly and ready to help at all times.

There was often quite a wait for an elevator to open. It seemed that several of them remained on the same floor without moving.

Very pleased with the size of our stateroom on deck 2. There is very ample storage room.

Cons: Could have a little more variety in daily activities
