Not good for us. We missed out on a LOT. Trouble with the app. Recommend you OPEN venues/pools/Hero Zone etc. and stay OPEN. Recommend you put printed copies of the schedule for all 3 days in the state rooms. Especially if you have occupants over 50 yrs old.
Embarkation

The Porter was very helpful and gave great advice about parking garage and to park on level 3 right by the elevator since my husband was on crutches.

Food and Dining
3 out of 5
Dining Rooms just okay The fast food by the pools on Deck 11 were our favorites because it was hot and fresh We couldn't understand why when we were the #107...but everyone around us with different servers and with our same serving team, received their food and drinks before us. Every Time! The show at Arrendale sounded good, but we were so cramped and so far away, plus my back was to the stage. The show at Marvel was the kids favorite, but the food was the best at 1923. We ordered room service and I thought we'd get fresh popcorn from the movie theater, not bagged popcorn....plus it was supposed to be 30 minutes and it took over an hour.
Onboard Activities
1 out of 5
This was the worst part of our trip. more times than I can count, we would trek across the huge ship with my husband in tow (on crutches b/c he had a knee replacement) just to get to the venue and find it CLOSED! It happened with the Spa, it happened with Joys candy shop, and several times with the Chip and Dale Pool and the Hero Zone Incredibles. The app is very frustrating and sometimes wouldn't load the schedule. Since you couldn't see the schedule until you board the ship, I couldn't plan ahead. Since there was NO printed schedule/Itinerary like we were used to in past cruises, we tried to go to guest services.....but there were at least 100 people in the line! Why not just put the printed ship schedules in the room? We are grandparents.....I was so stressed out and my 8 yr old grand daughter wanted to do the inflatables in the Hero Zone more than anything!! That's what you advertise heavily, BUT you only had it open for a limited period of time on the 2nd day while we were in the Bahamas!! WHY????? Not many people left the ship.....your employees say that you treat day 2 like a ship day but only had 2 pools open with 30 people in one pool. It was so crowded that you could only stand in the pool. They say....go to the chip and dale pool (which is NOT easy to get to...especially if you are mobilty impared b/c of all of the steps) then you get there and it's closed. I asked if they were going to open more pools with hundreds of people on deck 11.....NO! Not unlil 12:30! Why?? Why don't you have venues and activities open? On Bahamas day 2, only 2 people working at Guest Services. WHY?
Entertainment
4 out of 5
We missed most of the opportunities for entertainment. Had so many issues with the app. Went several times to guest services to get help, but the lines were SO long we gave up. The only show I caught was the last night Aladdin and it was Great!
Children's Programs
4 out of 5
Our 8 yr old enjoyed the kids area very much. However, on Day 3 we left the island after lunch so she could go back to the club just to find out that it was closed b/c of an Open House until 3pm? Why???? Made No sense to us
Service and Staff

everyone was great. Just couldn't understand why we always got our food service last even though we were the first ones to enter the dining room.
Ship Quality
3 out of 5
Cleanliness Excellent....but you included Ship Design and that in our opinion is a 1 Star - Horrible! the wish design is crazy! The elevators suck...especially for people with mobility issues. Families with strollers....etc. They were HOT! Soooooo many people waiting for anything above the 11th floor. Couldn't get to the aqua mouse or adult area....or chip and dale. The Adult area is hard to get to (b/c of the elevators) and way too small. The pool is GREAT but WAY too small. Could only stand in place. The coffee shop was good but too slow. We ordered 2 French Press americanos....and apparently that was too hard of an order. We were told to take a seat b/c it would take a few minutes. Instead he filled the next 4 customers orders and waited for a 2nd server to help. The 2nd server came up to us and we had to tell him our order again after sitting for 15 minutes. ? Then b/c my husband was on crutches I had our 2 coffees and and Iced coffee for my 16 yr old grand daughter and I asked for a coffee carrier, but they didn't have anything like that. But its a coffee shop? Just crazy.....hallways were so narrow....We will never do the Wish or new Treasure again. We will go back (possibly) to the Dream or Fantasy.
Cabin / Stateroom

Too HOT! Could not get it cool enough for me. My husband needed to ice his knee (knee replacement), so I had our stateroom attendant bring ice 2x a day. Great......That refrigerator didn't get cold until the last day! Also, I bought the package of 6 COLD waters. Uh....it would help if the bottles of water that I purchased would have been in the fridge when we got to the room instead of them sitting on the desk.
Ship tip
Ask for a schedule from someone that just got off the ship so you can plan and schedule the events because the Wish has a very specific schedule for various venues. Don't go if you or someone in your party has mobility issues! My husband was injured 5 different times! During and After MUSTER it was SO crowded that people and toddlers bumped into his bad knee and almost knocked him down. crowded
A crazy hispanic guy ran us off the road on the way to the parking terminal. It was not fun to have a fender bender on our way to our vacation. People in FL are rude and weave in and out of traffic
I think some things changed in 5 years since we were last there. I would not get the floats again. They only allowed us to use them in the one beach area. It was sooo crowded and people crowded the shallow area to the point that you couldn't even get into the water. We tried to snorkel but honestly it is a waste of time. there is nothing to see. The food was just so so. We did the banana boat excursion and it was fun.
Very very crowded. We were all in line that wrapped around the center of the deck by 1923, but there were MANY families that didn't care that we were all in line. Some would jump in line at the elevators.....I even saw several family walk right up the side of the line and right to the end where we split into 3 lines to check out on the computer. The system was down, so it was SLOW. They had to take down our names and state room by hand. After we walked off the ship is was GREAT!!! They led us to the elevator b/c of my husband being on crutches and a GREAT Porter helped find and load up our bags......got us thru customs VERY FAST and tool the cart with luggage to the van. The Porters are EXCELLENT
It makes me so sad that your husband was hurt multiple times during the muster. They really need to go back to doing the muster virtually/in your stateroom and then just show proof to a cast member that it was completed.
This is all good information. Thank you for being so detailed. I am sailing on the Wish in two weeks and am trying to go in with low expectations. Our cruise is fully booked and I’m not looking forward to the crowds. I’m just planning to have a good book to read while I’m waiting for events to start or to just lounge by the pool with. I want to do all of the activities, but know it’s not going to be possible.
I hope your next cruise, whatever line you sail with, is a much better experience!
