This was our 17th Disney cruise and more than 25 total cruises. I WISH I COULD GET MY MONEY AND FIVE DAYS BACK!
Embarkation
1 out of 5
Poor. The COVID test people made us go to a freezing trailer and wait more than 2 hours then came back and said they made a mistake and we were clear to go
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
2 out of 5
Food in dining rooms was good. Dining room set up was horrible. Hard to see both the Ant man show and the Frozen show. Buffet was subpar. No fresh fruit by the pool unlike the other 4 ships. I was told to call room service and room service said they only had bananas.
Onboard Activities
1 out of 5
Why are there tiny pools with only 1 foot of water? Why? And why are the movie theaters so small? And why does the running track no longer go around the ship? And why is the spa on the 5th deck and claustrophobic? Why was the virtual game not working? Why did the AquaMouse break down more than once an hour and what was the point of the bumpy conveyor belt entrance with the little move screens - a waste of space. The original AquaDuck is so much better.
Entertainment
1 out of 5
I get diversity and gender equality by WHY was Ariel Asian with purple hair and Prince Eric was Black then at the end didn't even save Ariel. And why was the trivia Musical theater? No one knew anything. Not fun for anyone.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Staff is always the best in customer service
Ship Quality
1 out of 5
Clean of course but the designer of this ship SHOULD BE FIRED. There are walls everywhere blocking all the open spaces. The mid ship elevators are gone. All spaces feel closed off. Its basically a Disney decorated prison.
Cabin / Stateroom
3 out of 5
Oceanview Cabin was as usual for the Disney ships. The sparkly themed painting above the bed is a nice touch. I don't like the refillable shampoo bottles. For cleanliness, I think the disposable single use ones are better.
Ship tip
DO NOT SAIL ON THIS SHIP. GO ON ANOTHER DISNEY SHIP!
I’ve seen several complaints about the design of the new ships on NCL, carnival, and Disney. Many say they feel cramped and overcrowded. Vigor is not always better, especially when they try to include more people and less public space.
