Review summary

Great new ship, be open minded and temper expectations until you can experience her

Embarkation

Did check in online, got there a little early for our checking time. They checked our safe passage and our passports, otherwise we just waited for our boarding group.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Food was great quality, just wasn't thrilled with the selection of options. Seemed like they tired too hard to make each dish more exotic than it needed to be.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Kids club was so awesome I wanted to be a kid again and play. The Avengers room was cool and our little one slide the slide entrance

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Broadway quality shows, it's part of what makes it a Disney cruise

Children's Programs

Service and Staff

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Two negatives here, first it feels like they tried to squeeze a venue I to every inch of space which makes some of the corridors seem small and winding to the point that sometimes you feel lost when you are actually going the correct way Second, previous Disney ships took and mixed Disney and Nautical themes, the Wish eschews all nautical theming and it feels more like a Disney resort than a cruise ship. You can get so wrapped up doing the fun "Disney" things that you forget to do the cool cruise ship things.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Very roomy for an Oceanview

Ship tip

If you're a seasoned Disney cruiser, temper your expectations and be open minded. This ship is quite different from the other four, for better or worse. Would still sail her again, she is quite lovely.

Disembarkation
