Review summary

Overall, we were pleasantly surprised. First time cruising in Europe and with Costa cruises we did not know what to expect. The ship design and larger state room (had balcony) were excellent. The staff service is second to none.Overall, a very nice cruise in northern Europe. Ports of call were excellent.

Food quality was excellent and dining service was outstanding. The unlimited beverage package is an excellent idea and affordable.

Entertainment

The ship doesn't have a theater (after refurbished)\, thus after dinner entertainment is minimal compare to other cruise ships. Nevertheless\, Luigi (cruise director) is very creative at keeping everyone entertained.

Service and Staff

The staff is outstanding\, always willing to help and friendly. This is true from day one to the last day. This ship has passengers embarking/desembarking at every ports of call\, different from Caribbean cruises\, thus staff is always ready with a smile.

Enough space for a cruise ship of this size. Well maintained and clean.

Pleasantly surprised with the layout and size of our stateroom. Love the decor and its amenities. Very spacious bathroom compared to other ships we have been onboard.
