Review summary

Embarkation in Genoa was slow, but like in Miami, things came together. Once onboard the ship, it more than makes up for this lengthy process. The food services are excellent with plenty of choices from the Restaurant and the Buffet. This was our second sailing on the Romantica and we were just a little disappointed that the outdoor area of the buffet now has plastic chairs instead of wicker ones. The cabins are of a generous size but the TV films are quite old. The entertainment is of a more visual nature with magicians, singers and dancers, but all in all, very entertaining. We haven't got any small children so can not really comment on the kids' programs. The passengers were of a mixed age range, but were slightly younger than on other cruise lines and people watching was excellent. The itinery was excellent and so were the ports of call, just enough time in each to get a feel of the place. All in all, a great cruise and excellent value for the money.
