Review summary

We really enjoyed this cruise. The good, staff was friendly and helpful. The room was kept spotless. The beds on this cruise was like sleeping on a cloud. Food was good, not exceptional but nothing to complain about. Wait staff in the dining room was slow. It shouldn’t take two hours to eat dinner, but the were friendly. My husband got a double portion of king crab legs due to the delay. The ship is an older ship so it’s not as ostentatious as other cruises, but I’m ok with that. Princess is geared to an older clientele so I wouldn’t suggest this cruise for kids, but there were several kids on the cruise and they seemed fine. We also did the land tour which I highly recommend for anyone who considers this a once in a life time trip. You shouldn’t skip over the interior of Alaska.

Dinner usually takes about 1.5 to 2 hours, we have gotten out a bit sooner but that was by skipping desert. Compare that to a fairly normal dinner we had in Greece that our host took us to, over 4 hours. Americans are in a rush to finish which surprises those not used to us. Nice review though.
