Review summary

Not being kept up.In defense,The ship is scheduled for DryDock makeover in January 2013...This was our third cruise on the Coral Princess and did not rate as high as the first two. The cheapness shown: No playing cards available except for purchase,no salt and pepper shakers in the buffet area, had paper packets like a drive-thru.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
The quality was below Princess standards of times gone by and the wait staff seemed bothered that they had to work and serve.

Entertainment

1 out of 5
Shows were Ok\,only a few performers were better than ok.shows were same as four years ago.It was quite boring with only four ports in 14 days.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
The Captain did not meet guests at Captains Circle and was not seen except for ten minutes at the CC party\, he did not make any daily announcements or mingle.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
The ship has become a litte rundown

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Our cabin steward\, MA\,Christina made our cabin more livable by taking care in cleaning and supplies. The balcony had an obstruction(E207)that kept the wind out but had limited area.

Pros: visiting ports

Cons: Non activity of the cruise staff and Captain

Recommends Coral Princess? No.
