Review summary
We recently sailed the Coral Princess from Whittier to Vancouver. This was a first cruise with Princess. The ship and amenities did not disappoint in the slightest. The furnishings were 'rich' in appearance. The Wheelhouse Bar is the best example of this although there are several other examples. The richness of the wood used in this setting was special; lending greatly to the ambiance. The plushness of all the furniture was a plus to this room.Ship experiences

Pros: pre-cruise land excursions to Denali, ease of transfers from plane to lodge to train to ship and to home bound plane at trip's end. The forethought and planning by Princess to make this a "zero anxiety" experience is appreciated beyond description.
Cons: The anytime dining is not explained very well as to what this term means exactly. A more detailed description to explain that there are limited hours, and that there may be waiting lines would be a more accurate and more complete disclosure.
