Review summary

Staff was friendly, very clean ship, the decor was outstanding--plenty to do on board the ship--we had a balcony; went through the Panama Canal at our balcony--sipping special breakfast-with champagne! The Broadway style shows were excellent and the indiividual acts brought onto the ship were good to great. The actual trip through is amazing--we stopped in the Canal Area ata Christobel--4 hours--shopped for native items--it's quite an achievement to behold. Took 8 hours. Definitely feel it is best to start in LA and go entire length--landed in Ft. Lauderdale.

Menu each night was outstanding--chilled soup out of this world. The Horizon that served 24 hours a day--never too crowded--food was displayed well and easy to obtain. Different menu at evening with special evenings planned often that included menus relating to the theme.Very good choice here as well.

Entertainment

Stage is amazing--just like Broadway stage productions. Variety was good--did shows twice a night.

Service and Staff

OUt steward for our cabin was very friendly, helpful, obtaining anything that we needed right away. We found a waiter who was fun to dine with and then even though we had anywhere seating, ended up eating dinner at his table nightly.

Ship was excellent--size held just over 2100--largest ship to go through the Canal.Decor was beautiful--based on English theme--even the Casino-very clean everywherre--went through kitchen--clean as a whistle--layout was good--2 pools plus splash deck-

Cabin / Stateroom

Usual size--large closet area--balcony has nice chairs on it--lights inside were good--comfortable king bed-soaps and shampoos were outstanding. Small shower! Lots of places to store things.
