Review summary

The Silhouette has remained a very classy ship. We enjoyed all aspects of the cruise—the officers, the crew, fellow cruisers. There was a great mix of ages on board, with very few children. Meals were delicious, with the main dining having a good variety of selections. Would not hesitate to cruise on the Silhouette again.

Enjoyed main dining room and the buffet. We were somewhat disappointed by Murano, when comparing with past experiences.

We enjoyed our day at The Alcoves. Great service there!

Entertainment

We did not attend the stage shows, but very much enjoyed the House Band and other musicians.

Service and Staff

Our cabin steward was very attentive and friendly. Restaurant wait staff were outstanding. Some of the bar staff were not as friendly as on previous cruises.

We thought it was smaller than expected, but very well appointed, fresh, and clean.

Ship tip

The small venue entertainment was great, especially the House Band and the guitar and violin duo.

Disembarkation

There was a slight delay in disembarkation due to a problem in the port, but the staff handled it very well. The luggage carousel process was confusing at first. You have to look at the boars for your departure number.

Not much to do on the west coast 😥, Mexico, Panama Canal, Coastal, Alaska, and with the long haul to Hawaii or even longer to the South Pacific.
