Transatlantic from Rome

Sail Date: October 01, 2014

Reviewed: 2 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

Ship was beautiful\, most staff great\, food in dining room disappointing\,dining staff fabulous\,concierge level disappointing especially lack of decent snacks and the little details evident on other cruise lines. Food in buffets excellent. Boarding easy but departure and luggage retrieval unorganized and slow. Too many extra charges and expensive. Daily cocktails and happy hour cocktails horrid and wierd. Production shows good and shipboard lounge entertainment nice. Seemed like this cruise intended for very sedentary and elderly. Activities conflicted with dinner or were way too early in am.

Pros: Staff

Cons: activities schedule\, room service food
