Review summary

We did a 7 night sailing on the western Caribbean. The ship is spectacular. Celebrity have spent so much on making this ship amazing and comfortable. The art work and chairs around the ship make you feel like you’re in luxury. Our room was an infinite veranda room which we thought was great. Lots of room storage and the option for the window to open up. Very private. We had so much fun at the pool and at the different bars around the ship. The food was another step up and so was the entertainment. If you get a chance go do it. You will have a blast.

Great. Looking at booking sister ship Apex for 2020. By then any kinks will be resolved and all will be plain sailing.

@julie22. The upgrade is worth it in our opinion. The martinis are $15. The classic package covers $9. If you have 2 martinis the cost with the classic package would be $12 plus an 18% gratuity over the package allowance. With the premium package you also get Evian water, most beers, and other drinks up to $15. The upgrade is $10 plus an 18% gratuity per day according to Celebrity's website. So if you will average 2 premium drinks per day the upgrade is worth it.

@Sherry2017. We are currently on The Edge. The infinite veranda is more like a big window that we can open. You still feel the breeze and when closed gives more space. It isn't bad just different. The ship is beautiful although the layout takes some adjustment since it is completely different from any other Celebrity ship. The best advice we can give is to go with an open mind and have patience. If you have select dining and want to do some specialty restaurants make your reservations from home now! You can do a walk in to main dining, but you might have to wait. The specialty restaurants will fill up quickly.

Thank you. I go in 2020. Saw a few negative statements that I choose to ignore regarding the infinite verandas. I intend to have a great time.
