Review summary

I started out really disappointed in the ship because so much of the burden of getting familiar with the ship depends on the not-quite-ready-for-prime-time app. The activities content in the app is not quite reliable, and the staff seem as confused by it as I was. However, once I gave up and decided to just allow the mystery to unravel on its own, I fell in love with this quirky vessel. For me, the best thing about this cruise has been the music. The live music is wonderful, the relentlessly hypnotic ambient music is delightful. I'm sure that it all contains subliminal spending suggestions. They should sell mix tapes of the voyage. That, I'd buy.

Almtsbb they still print daily programs... the app has the same information but it is more difficult to find

Thanks - I'm sure just growing pains with the app. Problem is to use you need to keep your phone with you on vacation. But good idea.

Do the print the daily programs or are they only using the app? I have seen post that the maps of the ship are only on the app. I really like to unplug while cruising.

An app to explore the ship? I prefer doing it with my own eyes. 2-3 days and sense of direction becomes solid. Have to admit I had not paid attention to the live music much until my June '18 trip in Asia. The bands on Sun Princess were fantastic. It will be a 'must explore' for my March '19 trip.
