Review summary

The ship is absolutely beautiful and the staff was all very caring. We made use of the spa for a couple things, and they too were wonderful. However, we did not appreciate the pressure to buy their products at a somewhat high price. The entertainment was very good and there was quite a variety. We did find one or two of the individual performers to be a little crude for audiences that included children. We did find our cabin to be a little short of closet and drawer space for the longer 2 week cruise.

Never had a bad meal and always a variety of items to choose from.

Entertainment

In general\, excellent. Ship's singers\, dancers\, and band were top notch. Variety of other acts was also excellent\, although we found the juggler\, Mike Price\, who was very talented\, to be a little crude with actions and language for an audience that included children. Pianist\, Brooks Aehron\, was phenominal\, and did an additional afternoon concert. He not only played\, but he added many stories regarding the composers and how the music came to be.

Service and Staff

We had never had a female cruise director on our previous cruises (11)\, but Patti Honacki was the best one we have ever had. Very approachable and entertaining. She is an accomplished singer herself and joined in on a couple shows.

Ship Quality

Only complaint is that acts taking place in the common areas such as the Entertainment Court\, blocked access to other areas if you were not interested in watching.

Cabin / Stateroom

Loved the larger veranda\, but closet and drawer space were a little too small for a 14 day cruise.

Pros: The chance to just chill doing whatever we wanted.

Cons: Cramped space and storage for a longer cruise. Pressure to buy products in spa.
