Review summary
This was our 10th cruise, but our first time cruising on Celebrity. At first, things were a bit rough with the room attendant, but was quickly resolved at the front desk with another new attendant. Here are the pros: library is open 24/7, the service on-board is excellent, on-board string ensemble, not pushy bar staff, live band/orchestra with shows (not just a recording with music), night light standard in the bathroom, front desk staff, quality of the drinks, they have 110 volt plugs in the room, guest services, and Q-tip/cotton balls filled container in the bathroom. The cons: No atlas in library (would like to see where we were, etc.), limited activities, most stewards can't make towel animals, activity leader is not much of a leader when he leaves and asks other passengers to take over his position, photos taken throughout the day and on excursion day are NOT available for viewing the next day. One has to wait at least 48 hours. Obviously, some of the items mentioned are minimal (no towel animals) and we understand, but these are things we look for on a cruise. Also, I would say that this cruise was geared more for seniors. We were one of the youngest people on the cruise and only saw 6 young children on board. At one point I felt that I was on HAL. Overall, a wonderful cruise!! You will not be disappointed. We went to see the sites, not to people watch on board.Ship experiences
