Review summary
Our cabin literally smelled of sewage. We were told nothing could be done since the ship was full. So, we told them the accommodations were not habitable and we wanted a refund and would leave at the first port of call. Then, we were given another room, which was also an upgrade. Our dining was also a problem. They assigned us to early seating when it should have been late, and it was a fight to fix that. They also didn't have us booked for airport transfers even thought they were requested, and we had to fight to fix that too. There were several other little problems which would all take too long to list, but suffice it to say that they were a nightmare to work with. Plus, the itinerary is poorly planned out. St Petersburg is a very poor choice for the overnight stay. There is very little there except for celebrity's overpriced, poorly planned excursions. Due to Russian visa controls, you can't leave the ship without a tour, and when you do see St Petersburg, it doesn't offer nearly as much as the other ports. Nearly everyone I spoke with was very underwhelmed with it.Ship experiences
