Review summary

The ship was very pretty. However, the service and the entertainment was very bad. My husband and I have been on 6 previous cruises with Celebrity and they were wonderful. This one was very bad and we would not recommend it to anyone. The food was always cold in the dinning room as well as the buffet. The steaks were overcooked and the baked potatos were not cooked at all. The entertainment was not good at all, the pool band was always off key and sang songs that should be sang slow fast, and fast songs were slow. The thearter entertainment was very poor. It was a very disappointing cruise and we were embarrassed to have our friends with us that we told this would be the best cruise ever. We also have friends that are taking this cruise in April that we have told to cancel their trip. This was terrible service from the Customer Relations desk to other servers. Royal Caribbean is a better cruise lines and more worth the money.

The food was cold and some of it was overcooked. The speciality restaurant was very good, however not as good as it has been on other ships.

Entertainment

The entertainment was very poor. On past cruises we went to all the shows and enjoyed them. This cruise there was not entertainment that stood out. It was like they were digging from the bottom of the barrel to get entertainment. When the Cruise director does a show you know they can't find good entertainment.

Service and Staff

I was told I look like a terrorist and very mean. The bar server in the Wine Cellar refused to service use drinks because we wanted something other than wine. The Assistant Activities Director argued with my husband. The Cusomer Relations person was very rude and argued as well.

Ship Quality

The windows that should be clean of finger prints were not clean. We are referring to the inside windows and mirrows.

Cabin / Stateroom

Our stateroom attendant did an excellent job cleaning our cabin and making towel animals for us.

Pros: The bar server on the back bar. He loved his job and had fun with the other bar server he worked with.

Cons: The service, the food was cold and undercooked. Being denied a drink other than a glass of wine at the wine cellar. The entertainment. The whole experience of this Celebrity cruise.
