An Amazing Cruise!!!

Sail Date: January 07, 2008

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Inside

The ship was beautiful, very spacious and had a variety of activities and entertainment for everyone, whether adventurous or relaxing. The warm thermal pool and whirlpool jacuzzi were great! The meals were amazing every night and there was a 5-star menu to choose from! I was very impressed by how much energy and effort the staff puts into giving each guest the best service possible and making us feel special!

Pros: Superv service and attention to guests, great entertainment, 5-star dining, relaxing/romantic atmosphere

Cons: In the buffet, when I asked for smaller portions of food I was ignored (I understand servers work fast for the benefit of the guests but I did not like waisting food)

Recommends Celebrity Constellation? Yes!

Cabin / Stateroom
The rooms in the lower decks a bit too small and double beds put together to make a queen are not so comfortable, but overall estate rooms are very functional and have all the essentials. They are cleaned twice a day! Great for people who like to explore and enjoy ship activities and excursions all day and just go to room to sleep.
Food and Dining
5-star restaurant quality and exceptional staff service!! Great variety for all tastes!! The late dinner seating 8:30pm was very convenient as it did not interfere with any excursions. Also late showtimes were made available for late seating diners.
Service and Staff
"Above and Beyond" what I expected: the Sommelie had wine ready for our table before we even arrived to our table, our server made sure we liked the meal or changed it, the person who served our water knew exactly how and what we liked and there was no need to ask after the first night, rooms were cleaned twice a day!
Broadway shows, different types of musicians and entertainers, overall...amazing and catered to all tastes!
Ship Quality
Size was large, as it did not feel crowded despite the 1,000 crew members and 3,000 guests. All public areas were constantly cleaned. All decks very accessible except during each time ship disembarked, elevators would not go up to the higher decks as all were being used to go down, resulting in a long, frustating wait.
