A cabin on a lower deck midship will reduce the motion you feel. A balcony where you can get fresh air helps. Sea bands help some people. Anti-seasick patches may help and green apples and ginger are thought to be useful.

ok, so no judgement here, just completely out of curiosity, if you don't like water and you have a tendency to get travel sickness, then why go on a cruise? again no judgement just asking, as a seasoned cruiser?
