Review summary

The ships layout is very bad. You cannot walk straight through to the dining room on both levels from across the ship nor the theater. The ship is a nice size and comfortable public areas for the amount of people it holds however it is showing serious signs of wear and is due for a makeover. The staff seemed despondent compared to prior celebrity Salings.

Food and Dining

on the bright side most of the food was of a very good quality. The disappointments were in the inconsistency of the size of entres. For example to Talapia was one small fillet and gnocchi was very small portion\, however Veal Cordon Bleu was very large; and yet all these three items were listed as separate entres on the same menu and the waiters were clueless

Entertainment

other than the comediennes being ronchy and inappropriate; the rest of the entertainment crew did a very good job especially the acrobats.

Service and Staff

most of the staff was to despond & had a bad attitude and appeared overworked. celebrity has obviously cut down on staff and they've cut out many things that they used to provide such as staff to help in the buffet carrier your tray and find a table for you.

Ship Quality

there are not nearly enough public restrooms and those that they have are too small. additionally their doors are very difficult to open.

Cabin / Stateroom

The state rooms were fine the beds were comfortable there was a lot of closet space however the step to get up into the bathroom is entirely too high

Pros: itinerary

Cons: celebrity has cut back on staff & amenities & prior nice touches

Recommends Celebrity Century? No.
