Sail Date: September 01, 2013 Ship: Celebrity Century Cabin Type: Balcony Traveled As: Couple Reviewed: 3 years ago
The ship is old and small which we knew. But the cabin we got was the smallest we have ever had on any ship. Hotel manager promptly moved us to a more acceptable cabin. The ship was clean and neat but definitely a little shabby.
Food and Dining
1 out of 5
Food was average cruise fair which was a disappointment because we had been told Celebrity food was superior. Also we have never before been blatantly served leftovers the next day in the buffet. We had one morning toward the end where there were no clean dishes at the buffet and very little food selection\, which made for a not so great breakfast.

The Hemisphere Lounge had one night of 50s-60s music with a great turnout (it was an older crowd on board). After that\, there were very few opportunities to go dancing\, which we love. Piano bar entertainer was terrible. Main theatre acts were good except for the magician\, who put on the same - bad - show twice!
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Your staff is great. I mentioned certain people by name in our exit survey. They went a long way toward making up for other ship failings. It is because of them that we would consider cruising on another Celebrity ship.

Ship is small and dated but very clean.
Cabin / Stateroom
3 out of 5
Our second stateroom was much better than our first\, although the bed being against the wall made for some tricky nighttime bathroom trips. However\, the balcony was spacious - we would have loved it in the Caribbean where we would have been able to spend more time on it. Our room attendants were wonderful and our room was kept very clean.
