Review summary
Every Carnival employee was friendly, courteous, and helpful. The ship was clean and in excellent condition. The menu of food items served in the Paris dining room was identical to the food served in the Lido South Beach buffet. Carnival ships used to serve 4 courses plus desert in their dining rooms, but now serve only 3 courses plus desert. Additionally, the four courses that Carnival used to serve in their dining rooms included several menu items that were a little more elegant and challenged the galley workers a little more. I missed the more imaginative menu items in their dining room. Bob's Burgers served excellent hamburgers. The Blue Iguana served meat that was old, dehydrated, and tasteless. I thoroughly enjoyed the soft serve ice cream machine that was in operation 24 hours a day. I only require clean towels and my cabin cleaned once a day, and Carnival Triumph let me choose this option. I could have chose to have my cabin cleaned twice a day or more, but declined. I asked for a bucket of ice on my first day, and found this ice bucket refilled every day without asking. I limited my eating to the Lido buffet and Bob's Burgers, and enjoyed the food from these two places. The illusionist and comedians were very entertaining. I recommend skipping the dining room and eating at the buffet, which has less stringent clothing requirements.

Ship tip
Since the buffet food is identical to the dining room food, eat at the buffet. You can wear more casual clothing, eat when you want, and try several main courses. Their salad bar is excellent as well.
