Review summary

This was the kids first cruise and they had a great time. There had been some bad weather so, the ship was more rockier than normal I am guessing. Everyone was very friendly and staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. We did several activities on the ship but the kids favorite was the Green Eggs and Ham breakfast. I highly recommend reserving and paying a little extra for it.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
We didn't eat at any specialty restaurants however, the main dining room was pretty good but, a couple of nights... not a good selection. The buffet was a little disappointing because there wasn't as much to choose from compared to the 3 Royal Caribbean cruises I have been on recently. The kids had the same "kids menu" every night which was fine with kid friendly meals but, not much at the buffet for the kids that are on the pickier side.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
There were a lot of activities to participate in and we did do some of them.... with 3 kids and the 1 small pool that kids were allowed in.... was a little disappointing but, they did really like the Dr. Seuss theme and Green Eggs and Ham breakfast which I highly recommend. I thought we would see the Characters walking around a little bit more but, the kids still enjoyed the "timed" activities for Dr. Seuss. And Camp Ocean was awesome as well.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
My children's ages are 5, 8 and 10. The 5 year old loved it the most... She made all kinds of crafts/items and new friends. The 8 year old liked it a lot especially the party they had and kids choice activities. The 10 year old liked it but opted to not go a couple of times however he is also a "homebody" type of person so, that may have been the reason. The members that took care of the children while they were there were all so very nice and even remembered their names throughout the ship, I was impressed.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All of the waiters and stewards were very nice and accommodating. Our room steward Andi was very nice and made us towel animals every day :) the kids loved coming back to the room and seeing a different animal daily.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Everything was kept very clean and maintained, no complaints there.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
I am so glad that we were able to have 5 people in one cabin because with Royal Caribbean, we are not able and we are a 5 person family with kids. It was a little cramped however, as long as you aren't in your room all that long (you shouldn't be when you are on vacation anyway) it is fine. And the shower and space in the bathroom was bigger than I was used to on Royal's so that was a pleasant surprise.
