Review summary

The Sunshine is smaller & laid out a lil different than the other Carnival ships I've been on, BUT... We had a blast!! The staff was excellent. We had 1 issue with our bathroom that we sat with for a few days before complaining about it, but once we made staff aware of it, they immediately handled it (as best they could) & also gave us "on board credit"... This was our 1st time having a Cloud 9 Spa Balcony room & now we can never go back to regular balcony. Lol. The spa amenities really added a whole new element to our cruise experience. All the food was delicious & we never ate dinner in the dinning room at all. Only went to Brunch once in dinning room. Dinner at JiJi's was amazing. Lunch at Cucina Del Capitano was perfect. The buffet had the best buffet food on any ship I've ever been on. The comedy shows were of course off the chain. So glad they had the "club" located in the Limelight Lounge instead of the Liquid Lounge. Still had that club vibe to it. Honestly, the DJ could use a little help though. But we still had fun!! Overall, we had an amazing cruise leaving out of Charleston for the 1st time. The ONLY reason I won't give it 5s stars is because of the bathroom issue. But would I cruise the Sunshine again..🤔 Absolutely!!!⛴️🍹👙🏝️😎

I agree the only downside is checking in on 5 going through the casino and then down to 3

I’ve cruised the Sunshine twice and loved it. The only thing is you just have to get use to the layout for the my time dining at the MDR. When you have to check-in on deck 5 and go down to deck 3 for dinner otherwise love cruising this ship.
