Review summary

We sailed the southern Caribbean on 2/10/18. All in all, we had a good time. Cruise Director Emma was excellent. The food was excellent in the upscale places and the Lido. We were quite disappointed with the anytime dining system and slow service in the dining room. Very different from our previous Carnival cruises. We really enjoyed Aruba and Curaçao, but Grand Turk, not so much. Too bad you have to go there if you want to see some of the other western Caribbean islands. The worst thing by far was the lifeboat drill where they crammed way too many people into way too tight a space down under the lifeboats. They literally caused people to pass out in the crush. There’s absolutely no excuse for creating such a safety hazard as that!
