Review summary

It was a very rough start to our cruise. We got on the ship on 12/9/17 and our room 6184 had flooded before we got on and smelled awful. We had family in room 6186 and that room flooded worse and smelled worse. Our family in the other room were held in security for 45 minutes before they could get on ship because there card was flagged because of the wet carpet and had to be escorted on. Once they got on the ship they figured out they were flagged because their room wasn’t ready.We had 2 fans in both rooms that had to run all the time to dry the carpets and after 3 days they still weren’t dried and the smell was still there. The smell was awful and we couldn’t stay in our room. We would sleep in there and then get up and get out. Nothing was getting done to solve this problem. The only people who were trying to help us were our room steward Pedro and victor at guest services. Finally family in the other room posted something on carnival Facebook page and within 30 minutes we had 3 supervisors up at our room and we got it taken care of. After our rooms were taken care of the rest of the cruise was great. I understand pipes can bust and flood on any ship but they could have handled it better than what they did. I will say that victor was really good and was a lot of help. He refunded us our faster to the fun and gave us some on bored credit. Victor and Pedro were 2 of the nicest people on the ship.
