Review summary

had a good time, boat rocked way more than any other I've ever been on, even outside the room. but the food and atmosphere was great. staff was friendly and organized.

had a lot of movement in our room, you could feel the boat moving a lot! and the gangway was right under us so very noisy when it was time for excursions and getting off boat

guys burger joint had amazing burgers, blue iguana great burritos, and all had good drinks!!

We did the sunshine in oct... short one up to st john halifax, we were ok with the seas but 6th fl mid ship.

Our room was on deck 1 and still felt it a lot we were on oct 1st too.

On the October 1st sailing it rocked so bad one night I almost took my zofran. We were on the 12th deck and I had heard higher up you feel it more. Our next trip on the Sunshine I booked forward lido deck so we will see

Surprised to hear that Carnival didnt use the stabilizers in rough seas. We havent experienced that on Carnival. Did experience 30 to 40 ft swells on the Celebrity Reflection heading to Cozumel from East Coast in Jan this year. Alot of the passengers fell ill. We have been on at least 10 plus Carnival ships but have never had really rough seas.

I've been on a few other carnival ships and never felt hardly any movement but the sunshine rocked a lot everywhere could be rough seas in the fall during hurricane season but not sure.
