Review summary

I enjoyed the length of the cruise, it was like a long weekend. The cruise director, Emma, was very approachable and friendly. Her and her staff made the cruise enjoyable. I would recommend the cruise, I loved the town of New Brunswick, very quant. However, I would not book a balcony room again. I paid extra for the room, but was not able to use the balcony. So disappointed!!

I paid for a balcony room, and on a four day cruise I was only able to use the balcony one day. They were doing maintenance on the balacony, and after it was completed the balacony was locked. Also The bathroom had a sour smell to it. I would never book a balcony room again.

The cruise director, Emma was fantastic, she made the trip enjoyable. The staff were all very helpful & friendly.

We had a balcony and The Statue of Liberty was an awesome sight! Maybe they couldn't use their balcony was due to the fog that surrounded our cruise on both sea days. The best cruise ever!

We always get a balcony no matter what. Love to sit out there and enjoy the peace and quiet.

If you were locked out of the balcony due to maintenance, I would question Carnival HQ about getting a partial refund -- you were not given what you paid for by fault of the line.

If you were locked out due to weather, then that would be one of the chances you take.

bigbigblake - it really doesn't matter why they wanted to use the balcony.
