Review summary

Never sail if the weather has been bad. We had 3 days of rough seas both day and night. Rain, cold very windy weather.  Winds at night were up to 70 knots with no extra activities offered since you could not use the pools or any outdoor activities. No enough supplies for offered activities. Mainly trivia as far as main activities offered. There were no covers over decks to protect you from the elements or allow you to be warm and sit out side. The water works and that deck of activities disappointing my son and grandson. The spa was VERY expensive and after they only tried to sell you products that cost more than the treatment. When we got to Halifax NS there were no tours available to Peggy's Cove and the double decker buses stop selling tickets due to an accident which tied up the area. St. John's NB just see the changing rapids on you own the tour were boring and a waste of time and money. Food was average to below. The buffet let a lot to be desired as to the quality of food. We ate dinner ever night but one in the dinning room. If you have little ones Green eggs and ham breakfast was nice but the food was not great at all especially if you have picky eater or your an adult. For daily breakfast the buffet was your best option for choice. Never enough seating and VERY cold, even our food cooled off fast. In order to get a seat if you found one you had to leave a family member at the table to save it then get your food and allow the person who stayed get there food. The worst was getting sick the day we disembarked; I could not find any one to clean up the messes. I was told don't worry about it. Not an impressive trip but as they say you get what you pay for. BTW there is not local news or weather all is out of the Miami area. The

I think he sailed when I did. October 8-13. Yes the first few days were somewhat rocky but never did I see the barf bags put out or see anyone getting sick. As for not being out on deck, I say you have to make your own fun. New Brunswick was very windy and cold. After my DH and I walked the town with an umbrella we then returned to the ship and sat in the hot tub for an hour in the rain.

Wow..one star for things that couldn't be the cruise ships fault...we went on sunshine in june..and it was chilly in port... A little homework would have or could have helped you. As for food....if you cant find food you like on a cruise ship....your not trying..... I believe its every cruisers obligation to try to find the good on the trip....not just complain...Your on vacation......

Your going north in the fall cool or bad weather can be expected we had so much to do we didn't have time for the pools a week prior and the kid and teen camps have activities all day there is always more room to sit in the Havana bar right behind the buffet lots of extra tables book excursions ahead of time to make sure you get s spot or go where you want not necessarily with cruise line.
