Review summary

I was a little disappointed. I had not been on Carnival in a long time because I was trying other cruise lines to compare. I was so disappointed with the marijuana smell that took over the ship. There were announcements that said that it was not permitted even if it was for medical usage, but the smell wreaked up and down the halls and on all of the open public areas. The workers work hard trying to keep peace on the crowded ship. It was just disappointing to see a cruise line that I loved go down hill like that. It is time for me to move on to another cruise line.

The food was okay. Other than the burgers, Carnival is not know for great food. It was filling, but not great.

Onboard Activities

Everything does not have to sexually charged to be fun. A lot of nudity. It seems to be acceptable for women to be completed exposed with only tap on their nipples, and a strap on their front with the back completely out. If you're into that, then this is the cruise for you. Nudity is their thing on Carnival.

I did not have children with me on this trip. There were a lot of children there.

If you are sensitive to marijuana, you will not be happy. The smell was everywhere all of the time.

I totally agree with you we were on the Sunrise and we could even stand being in our room because the smell of marijuana from the rooms next to us. When the guys clean the rooms they have to smell it and those folks should be charged the extra that it states in the room. Even on the serenity deck it was everywhere. Made our cruise very less enjoyable. They need to get a handle on this

I disagree that nudity is a thing with Carnival. Maybe you were just sensitive to that. I'm sure other cruise lines have issues with that and with the smell of Marijuana as well.
